Our Favorite 2018 Trends
Here in the south, we tend to love traditions however lately we have seen a few of our couples shaking it up a little by embracing the new wedding trends. We absolutely LOVE it. From unique tablescapes to first look with dad we can't help but fall in love with these new trends. Here are a few of our favorites.
Lanterns as Aisle Decor
Lanterns as aisle markers is genius. It is the perfect combination of rustic and elegant. It is the perfect amount of decor without going overboard. We also love the floral aisle markers as well. We seem to see more of our brides using lanterns and florals to bring in more romance to the ceremony.
First Look with Dad, Mom and Bridesmaids.
This new trend has us tearing up. There is just something so special about when a dad or mom sees their little girl all dressed up for the first time after months of hard planning there is such raw happy emotion that comes with this trend. Pack some tissues. Also, who doesn't love when the bride tribe sees their girl for the first time.
Vintage Seating Lounge
Hello Gorgeous! Did I mention we have vintage furniture for rent? That is how much we love this trend. I mean what bride doesn't want their photo on a tufted velour couch from the 70s.
Four-legged Member of the Wedding Party
A dog in a bow tie. YES!!! We have yet to have the groom call his dog bearer to him with the rings during the ceremony, but we are so ready! This is by far the cutest trend! I mean look at that sweet pup, he is adorable.
Floral Bridesmaid Robes
The floral robes are perfect for our boho brides. The getting ready photos are some of our favorites. Also what a great bridesmaid gift.
Alone Time for the Bride & Groom
After the ceremony, it is hard to have any alone time with your groom or bride. However, this new trend gives you a little time to cherish the day and take it all in. Plus we love the raw emotion the photographer captures during this time.
Georgia Weddings in the Snow.
Last but not least. Our personal favorite getting married in the snow.... in GEORGIA! We never thought we would see the day. Our beautiful winter bride.
